Pilot Prep Course 2020-2021 Term

Pilot Prep Information

Classes will on be held online.

  • This class usually meets two Saturdays each month from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Deviation to the schedule occurs in November and December over the holidays.    
  • Students must be able to commit to the schedule.
  • In mid-March, students who have an accumulated score of 85% will be invited to Boot Camp over spring break to take practice exams. Those scoring 95% on 3 consecutive exams during Boot Camp will be endorsed to take the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Exam.
  • Course materials and practice exams are provided at no cost.

Apply by deadline: Saturday, September 12, 2020

Write a 1-2 page essay describing what your aviation goals are, what aviation experience you have, and a special role model.

Obtain your school transcript (Minimum GPA considered: 2.5 unweighted)

After we receive your application:

AEFCO Board may schedule an interview with student and at least 1 parent.  If needed, it will be via video conference.

2020 Pilot Prep candidates will be notified of acceptance no later than Saturday, September 19, 2020.

Classes start on Saturday 26, 2020 at 8:30 AM.
